I think being a center(I know Miller is also one) and the fact the Rangers are really thin there right now played a bit into the negotiations. But yeah, Miller is a bargain looking at it that way right now.

I would love Shatty but I don't want to see the Rangers trade any assets for any pending UFA to be honest. Those types of deals have burned us the past few years. I'd rather wait to make a run at Shatty next summer.

Yea if you have the cap space you can pay off that bonuses that year, but if no space is available the bonus roll over to the next years cap
