These kinds of posts are exactly why I troll and post different graphs/charts.

I believe a long term deal will be reached for 4-5 years (I would like 6) around 5.25 per. Do I think he's worth that? Not quite, but he's very close to being in that range. Anything under I will be happy, anything over that however. . .not so much. He should be coming into his prime that a lot of players usually hit in that 26-29 range. Look at Brass, previous career high 47 points, at 27 he pus up 58 and at 28 puts up 60. We could definitely see Kreider at 25-30 goals with similar assists in the coming years. Obviously no 2 players are the same, but I'm willing to take the chance.

Why on earth would NYR give hime 550k more per year than he's asking???



He will either get traded for shattenkirk or receive approx. 4 mil per for 4-5 yr. IMO he's worth that , He a 20+ goal scorer who might reach 30g's someday, and once he stops thinking too much, he could be a solid 2nd liner.

Yeah I'm pretty sure his 4.75M asking price is for a 1 year deal.
