Quoting that. - MaximumBone
Bear in mind that Larson is going to get every opportunity to be 1D and play with better high end forwards, while Gudbranson is going to be 3-4 at best.

So because Larsson will counted on to play top minutes (again, by the way), I need to take that as a hit against him when comparing him to a #4 Dman?

I find Kaaptan refreshing. - thundachunk
I find drinking a cold glass of apple cider while dropping a loaf to be refreshing, but I don't think people need to hear about it more then a couple times.

I guess what i'm saying is it's pointless to compare two different players on different teams that play different roles.

They are different players so I don't know why you are comparing them. EG is a big, tough and mobile defensive defensemen while Larsson is a soft, average defensemen in all 3 zones. They aren't comparable?

First, I'm not drawing the comparison, just holding that guy to it. Second, what a wonderfully biased description.
Still here. Can't figure out supper tonight. - manvanfan
Yesterday I was lefty or as as had halibut wit crusted potato chips so Vantel called it fish and chips . New flipping phone with this site crashing all the time
Agree.
I don't get when people try to shut down conversation because 'they're not going to happen' or disagree.
This site is most enjoyable when there is robust conversation that goes back/forth.
To me that 's the whole point of this blog, throwing ideas around and talking/dissecting potential and real/trades, lineups, etc.

This is true except no going back n forth with Kaaptan.
Throws out names of players to get rid of without offering for who or what.
Incomplete statements go not far.
Months of Sbisa is no good is a staple for him to post.
Now its Tanev as his whipping boy.
Players may be assets but much more goes into to trades & team chemistry & designing a winner to make cup runs.
I post some good stuff along with out there opinions.
Ppl shooting me down or agreeing or giving a different view is expected.
