Who cares if I been to the Barclay center or not. That makes no difference. If these guys are going to whine and cry over a parking space then who needs ya. There are kids out there who never make it to the NHL and I am sure if they had a chance they would not cry and be like nope I wont take this chance cause I cant park my toy in a parking spot. It is comical
- kasperrko

Your absolutely right. You never drove there, took a train there or even watched a game there, but you know, that the players have nothing to gripe about. Nor do the fans, take it from you!

I pissed myself reading this!

that's horrible
- batteryjackson

I was standing there, hammered, refreshing/scrolling through twitter and I refreshed it one more time and one of the tweets that pops up is "Tavares wins it 15 seconds in to OT". I hadn't even realized that the game started up again.

I almost threw my phone into the port-a-potty.

Yeah it's certainly unusual.

I'm not sure what the exact arrangement is of how things are hacked up between the two parties.

He's an article that kind of puts the deal out there.

I vote for building a wall around Josh Bailey's apartment.

Thanks for posting.

What a franking weird way to run your team.

At first glance, it looks like a great deal - you reduce overhead, get guaranteed income.

But the article goes on to talk about not having control on things like money for scouting, etc.

Sooner or later, this relationship will go sour.

yup! i remember i took my buddy to a game at the coliseum, he went to go take a piss at the start of the second intermission and he wasn't back til 7 minutes left in the third, he ended up missing three goals.
- batteryjackson

From my seats at the ACC, I can see into the timekeeper's box.

There's a little light that shines red when the next stoppage in play means a TV time out.

So when I see it, I bolt out of my seat at the whistle, rush down a flight of stairs and into the washroom.

about 75% of the time I can pee and return to my seat before the puck drops again.

I'm basically a ninja warrior when it comes to pissing at Leafs games.

I’ve obviously never been to a game there and can’t say whether the players like it or not. I honestly don’t care either way. They get paid good money to play in the NHL and the Isles game/practice situation is not unique. It’s part of the job.

when you've been losing money for years, having a number of set streams of income has to be pretty damn attractive.

Until someone says a new arena is being built and will make the isles more than 50 mil per, I'm not going to take any of that seriously.

As his agent posted earlier, Eric Boulton has agreed to a one-year, two-way deal with #Isles. Turns 40 next month.

Why do have this funny feeling that ERic Boulton is going to be the next coach of this team? Or GM?
