They replaced all those guys you mentioned, and for cheaper....

How so? Campbell is making 2 million this year. Gudbranson and Kulikov brought something different to the table than what Pysyk and Demers bring.

I agree that signing Yandle was a great addition. Too much money but a solid add.

It's true at times.

For me, winning the cup comes down to a few things, and winning more transactions than you lose is a part of that. But that's just where the work starts. You've got to have the right coach, right player mentality, a core of solid folks who you have likely drafted that includes a few stars at all positions and that's before you even get to the luck aspect that invariably comes from shooting a plastic disc around a sheet of ice for an hour at a time...

lol. I just checked what they had for a line up this year and i gotta say.. sucks..

Man.. we got our hands on Our Lady Peace, 54-40, Tragically Hip, Moist....

Is that NRG club still around? ROFL

- Delryk

NO NRG is now a New Age Church!!! And the things that went down there in the past are def not Church-like!!

Edit:
This year was pretty bad. A few good bands in Mother, Mother and July Talk...

Last year they got Weezer... but it was a paid event unlike past years.

Campbell made what 7mil last year. Look at what fla paid those guys and what they are paying the new guys. It's less and may well be better.

wtf. I loved living in Burlington.. all my friends are still around there. Heck, my bro works in Burlington (lives in Grimsby now though).

Freaking wife made me move so she could be close to her family.

Did you fly into Boston and drive down or what?
- RickJames77

Yeah, I did. I actually took the bus from the Cape back to the airport, wasn't bad at all.

It can be a poop show getting on/off the cape depending on when you leave

There was a 20 mile back up on Route 6 a couple weeks ago (the one that gets you to the bridge off the cape).

Possibly. We'll see. They have a lot of good puck movers. Even their bottom guys like Petrovic are good offensively.

Advanced stats guys will say that Pysyk and Demers are better than Gudbranson and Kulikov. I disagree.

Regardless, they do have an exceptional talent in Ekblad and a great defenseman in Yandle.

Born and raised here. Only left for University and graduate school... it drags ya back.

Funny thing... my wife and I LOVE Montreal (and she's one of strange Leaf fans). Would move there if the winters didn't suck so large

It's been in the low to mid 90s here almost every day for what seems like a month. That's just too hot for me.

I went to Notre Dame HighSchool which was like 5mins from my house.. until I went to a full out French highschool in Hamilton.. Bus rides were loong and painful..

I live on the south shore of Montreal.. we dont get much snow.. usually ice palettes I'd kill myself if I'd have to drive/go through a bridge to get to work though.

Really though as the team is right now leafs aren't ahead of any of those teams maybe the wings finally slip up but idk. Going to be another bottom 10 but more then likely bottom 5 finish for the Leafs. Which is fine
