The hangup will be Gaudreau's contract, he's probably looking for 7.5 to go 8 years, they've also both said that they'd like to sign identical contracts on multiple occasions. If the offer is closer to 6 million I bet Johnny's agent is pushing for it to be a 5 or 6 year deal. It's taking so long because BT will be trying to get them signed to max term without breaking the bank.
