That's why, although unproven, I love the Andersen trade for the Leafs. Giving up a 1st this year is fine. As you previously mentioned, there was no good prospects this year. So basically a 2017 2nd for Andersen. I'd take a flyer on that every time.

Tanev is bread and butter. His poise with the puck in his own zone is tops in the league as well as being one of the best shot blockers. He doesn't get enough praise. Now does he go to the corners and retrieve like Weber? Doest he shoot like Weber? Does he lay the body like Weber? Webers a beast. So F@ck no.
