I think with nylander signing, girgens is expendable with or w/o vesey
- homiedclown

I say go with Nylander, Bailey, and Fasching and move some pieces to upgrade D or free up cap (if possible).

I can't imagine Kulikov on the 3rd pair. I don't know. Maybe with Fowler, we don't need 46 for the PP
- sbroads24

I can't say I know much about him honestly, but I only put him there because I feel McCabe is/will be better and putting Bogosian on the 3rd pairing would seem more strange (Fowler has to be brought in for the 2nd pairing I'd assume)

I think Nylander needs to play in NHL to improve, Bailey and Fasching I think are ready for NHL.

I think Fowler goes up top, and Kulikov plays a stay at home role so Bogo can be more offensive

Do you think this deal could go down prior to the Vesey signing? If it does, that would make me think they are quite confident in signing him, or that they are ready to give Bailey a shot with the big club.
- Cup Crazy '07

Hard to say, if the deal works he will make it regardless what Vesey does. Vesey is a whole different story, these are just names that have been talked about for Fowler nothing is a done deal.

Ristolainen is better offensively than defensively though, so that's why I think a Fowler/Ristolainen pair would be weird.

Which is why I agree with a poster (don't remember who) that said Shattenkirk or stay put.

Bogo is an offensive defensemen who just has a defensive defensemen body type. He needs a good stay at home guy, just like Risto needs a good stay at home guy.

I don't think Fowler fits unless GMTM has a plan with Bogo...

He definitely fits. We need a PP QB type d-man. We dont have anyone like him on the team as is

You don't add a young guy like that and give up the assets to get him if he is just a PP QB type.

You need to have a regular place in the top 4 and as how the top 4 looks at the moment I am not sure he is the type of defensemen to be adding at the moment.

I won't be upset if they get him by any stretch of the imagination I just think he isn't the ideal target.

lots of ways to play it even if girgens is moved for fowler

- homiedclown

Those bottom two but mainly 2nd group makes me sick... We can do better than COR as a 4th line center too. I'd rather sign Gaustad for 1 million than have COR

We may see Girgensons on the move in the next couple weeks I was told last night there is some talk of Girgensons and Fasching for Fowler +. Just talk as of now.
- SABRES 89

I've been saying for months now that Fasching was gonna be the guy teams asked for...
Especially a team like the Ducks, bc they won't have to protect Fasching

I laughed at the Nashville ranked #1 friendliest city story...

Pretty much a nice place but man these people are bumholes, tbh.

Wouldn't doubt that + is Noesen
- sbroads24

I'd like that
Josh Manson is pretty underrated IMO too. I'd like him.
They are absolutely loaded with young defensemen
I bet they'd love to trade Bieksaso they can protect another one of them instead of him

So if they get Fowler, Gorges has to be a goner right?

Folwer /Risto
Bogo/Kuli
McCabe/Franson/Nelson/Falk

- sbroads24

Or Franson.
I'm pretty sure Gorges has played the right side before.
If he can, a 3rd pair of McCabe-Gorges would be something I'd like A LOT
