Disagree on his value
He's a pretty good prospect. Probably the #1 asset we have as far as making a trade
Murray is really high on him though, so he might be off the table in any deal

I'm pretty sure he & Fasching are the top 2 names asked about
My thought was that Fasching has a bigger name right now bc of all the tourneys he's played for the US

It was funny, Walton Goggins is a good actor. It's on again tonight at 8:00 eastern time.

I hope they don't go the Bush or Rice route. I'm fine with Gillislee and hope McCoy can stay healthy. What's Karlos's deal? He had some kind of personal medical injury around this time last year too. Didn't miss 4 friggin games though. I want it to work out for him. He was great in a spell role. Scored some awesome touchdowns.
- Hatboro_Swords

They have an offer in to Bush.

Karlos is substance abuse. So it could be anything from pot to smack.

It took me a minute to understand what you were saying. You're saying it's only $1.65 why won't they pay him that?

It's fine, it was just a really weird way to say that. That's all.

Who spends more time in the NHL this year?
a) Fasching
b) Bailey
c) Carrier
d) Nylander

- Zschalberg

For me it comes down to Fasching or Bailey. Since Bailey has already had more experience as a pro than Fasching it might give him the edge. Maybe let Fasching spend the entire season in Rochester so I would vote for Bailey.

they settled at 1.3m already. Its a decent contract for him. He played for 600k last year and did everything the team asked him to do and started to produce once he finally got Top 6 Time and PP time.

Gets 1.3m this year, so over the team years thats 950k salary for the guy, which is about right.

It was one of the most underrated shows. Maybe because it was on FX. I'm not sure. It fell into the trap of going bigger so as not to be repetitive, but it was still somehow believable. The one knock I had was the 2 junior marshalls characters were never really fleshed out. All we knew was that the guy was a marksman in Iraq, and that's pretty much it.

Ah, so he did. I think that's a pretty good deal. He had a streak of quite good play last year where he put up some decent points considering he was not getting very good ice time.

I think its fair for him. He is going to get a Top 6 role with how that roster is currently.
Still is talk around the team that they want him signed long term, but can't get that deal done this year with the cap space currently.

You think so? I'm definitely pulling for him. He never really got a fair shot here, and if he can, and I hate saying this because it sounds so stupid, "up his compete" I think he could be a very good player in the league.

sounds like it least. The ideal lines would be

Grigo - MacKinnon - Duchene
Landeskog - Soderberg- Rantanen
Comeau - Colborne - Iginla

He could slide down to 3C with Colborne getting some wing time as well, but my guess is that they really push him as a Winger moving forward for this team

I feel like Duchene is more valuable to the Avalanche as a center.

Also I know Colborne was drafted a center but I don't think he's played the position other than taking some faceoffs in recent years.

He was very dynamic on the Wing, he scored most of his goals playing RW with MacKinnon.

Its sort of like Kessel, playing his offwing, his his speed and his solid shot, I think he is meant to be a winger to load up that top line as a total threat

Comeau takes draws too, Roy just loves to have guys who can do duel position to take draws on their strong side on any line.

thats why they were experimenting with Ratnanen in the AHL as a C, so he can take draws as well

I'm surprised he doesn't love him for his leadership like he does McLoed lol
