My Draisitl thought was to get a young true #1 center for the next 10+ years. We haven't had that in a long time, but it was more a thought of getting younger. I also advocated for Coyle even though he wouldn't be a true #1. I like Stepan but he's not a #1. I can name 20+ guys off the top of my head that are better than him. We need a dominate true #1 center and we still don't have that. I like the deal as it addressed my concerns and the direction I want the team going in (bigger/younger) but we're still missing a #1.

After what I just posted I shouldn't get into this, but I saw the alleged Mrs. Trump plagiarism speech & she lifted a few sentences out of a 15 min speech but of course the media is just gonna go with those few sentences to run a story.

Even then it needs to be the perfect storm. RyJo was on the bad side of Torts and Nashville happened to have a surplus of top pairing defensemen.

Fair points. Do you really think Trumps wife sat back & watched a tape of the 2008 Michele Obama speech? Seems far fetched. Sometimes sentiments can be said that rang true (in almost the same words no less) for another person or people/party. It's like in music where there is almost NO way not to plagiarize sometimes with only so many chord arrangements that can be done.
