He got hampered by various injuries then really stepped up in the late season when others were either injured or getting called up.

Love how he plays on the offensive blueline. He's legit in my opinion. Then again, maybe I'm reaching.

Hell even the Oiler and Leaf fans are going at each other because Hendo stirs a bit of controversy. Todd posts and vaporizes...

Ya I get it but again quality...this is a rumor site not a factual site (sad as that is to say). Since there is very little fact to go on and stating signing a quality back up was good is painfully obvious.

Outside the Oiler fan base, most of us are dutifully employed and as something other than writers. If I'm a writer (and I'm sure as poop not), I'd want there to be some quality in what i write. There needs to be some balance between Tanner's spew and what Todd writes to get those 40 posts and 100 views... I appreciate the effort and yes Vetts 1 didn't cut it but...

I asked for predictions on the Pacific the other day and got a whole 3 responses. So there goes the "hijack the blog" theory too.

Maybe I'm the only 1 that likes the fact that Todd gives his perspective purely from an analytics point of view. Everyone gives him poop for not watching enough of the games, but (frank) we all watch the games, we don't need a guy giving us a TSN play by play of the game we just watched. I like looking at what Todd has to say and comparing it to what I see in the games to see if he has a valid point or not.

There really isn't anything to talk about until Johnny and Money sign, and predictions are something that are best saved for pre-season time (because I bet if he did one now and then did one again when everyone else is doing it during pre season there would be at least one jag-off who would give him poop for repeating content).

Everyone else is cranking out blogs on a near daily basis, Todd's doing what he can to keep us on the main page (without resorting to writing complete bullpoop about stuff that isn't flames or even hockey related) and I appreciate that.

I think we have some very good dmen coming through the system, can't wait to see what Fat Rass and Kylington look like coming out of camp this year. Still wouldn't trade Dougie at this point but who knows, in a couple years time he could become expendable.

I don't always agree with Todd and I am not a big stats guy. But I appreciate the impartial point of view he brings.

It would be nice if could go more in depth at times but I also understand the guy is not supporting his family by writing the blogs on HockeyBuzz.

I really enjoy Tanner's blogs. You have to admit that the guy knows how to rile people up and its funny how people take the guy so seriously. But that said I am glad he is not the Flames blogger. Can't wait till he starts blogging full time for Edmonton!
