The Pens played better over the second half and the Flyers played worse than they had in the first half.

Exactly how does Carcillo winning a fight cause Biron to give up 4 goals from the second period on?

The Pens started playing better as soon as the fight was over. It wasn't a coincidence. The fight served no purpose for the Flyers other than stoking Carcillo's bloated ego. Biron gave up four goals; which ones were bad goals?

I think you're both right. The fight definitely got a jolt from the fight and picked up their play. That being said, when you have a 3-goal lead in an elimination game on home ice half way through the game, you need to find a way to close it out. So while Carcillo's fight was not necessarily the best game, the other players on the ice should have been able to protect the lead.

Was at Salt Spring myself.

Kayak out to chocolate beach, not sure you know where that is. The white shells one. Saw some seals. Ganges is a little too hippie-ish for me, I couldnt help reveal that it made me a little home sick. So out of my element.

Food is incredible though.

I agree, Carcillo answered a challenge and won the fight. In my opinion, it had zero to do with why the Flyers lost.

I'll never forget sitting at a bar in the middle of the afternoon watching the Flyers taking full control of this game in Windsor, Ontario. I was so excited. Locals were excited for me knowing I was a big Flyers fan. Old guy leans into me says "they'll definitely be a game 7" while it was still 3 to Richard. It was an embarrassing loss.

Has anyone noticed that none of the major websites have seemed to update the flyers draft picks for the 2017 draft properly. They should have possession of the Arizona 3rd round pick as part of the Sam Gagner/Pronger/Grossman trade.

They don't. They received San Jose's 4th rounder this year and traded it to the Isles at the draft for a 4th next year.

The deal was Arizona's option for a 2016 4th rounder(which they didn't have at the time) or a 2017 3rd rounder. Arizona traded Max Letunov & a 6th rounder to San Jose for 2016 4th rounder and a 2016 3rd, then gave the 4th to Philly to complete the Pronger/Grossmann/Gagner deal

1 and 3, don't remember 2. His rebound control was horrific. The pens were energized by scoring their first goal, not Talbot getting his ass handed to him

Honestly it was both. The fight got them fired up, no doubt there. However, if Biron makes a big save or 2, the Flyers most likely hold on and win the game. As dumb as Carcillo's decision to fight might have been, it doesn't change the fact that Biron came up small in a big game.
