A compromise is often the mean between two radicals so you're probably right. I would just argue that the character issues far outweigh the any talent issues.

Agreed. However we as Sabres fans really need (or deserve) 1 more year from this guy. 65 games is not enough for me to judge his on ice impressions. Some nights I thought he dominated the forecheck, others he was soft and passive. Also, I'm not sure if I'm the only one who thought this but Kane's tape-to-tape passing is horrendous. I noticed it many times last year going up the wall or within the zone. He can't make a 10 foot pass for his life. Love the sling-shot and puck hounding but we need to see it more often. After that trade we deserve at least one 80 game season to see what this kid has got. Obviously he's a mess off the ice, so if his production lacks next year I think he's gone. Trade, Vegas, or buy-out.

Someone posted a picture of a pizza, I think it was from Leonardis and I couldn't believe how good it looked. Made me want to make sure I go there the next time home. What is the board's opinion on the best chicken wings? Don't want to try Teriyaki or anything else, just traditional hot. Me and my dad usually go to Sal's in Depew.

The Leonardi's pick was me. It's an incredible pizza place. I just got one from there last week so I didn't want to go back so soon. It's really good. My dad introduced it to me when I was growing up. I guess it use to be in the west side of Buffalo when he was growing up there then they moved to more Amherst/Kenmore location but I highly suggest checking it out.

As for traditional wings... My top two would be Gabriel's Gate or Barbill Tavern. I've never gone to 911 Tavern or Elmo's but I hear both are fantastic as well. The original Duffs is awesome as well but I'm sure you've been there countless times.

Sounds good. I've never been to Duffs. Went to UB and never been to Duffs! I'm. pathetic.

It's curious to me that the Ducks haven't signed Lindholm yet
I know he'd cost a lot, but I think he's worth going after
His contract will cost significantly more than what they already have Fowler locked up for, so I wonder if we make a good enough offer...

Girgensons, Fasching, Borgen & a pick?
That might be too much to give up
But they're not gonna just move him for spare parts

You asked me to name 7 forwards, but a year from now, we might go the 8 skater route to protect a good defensive core.
Also, is it official that we dont have to protect sam and jack?

I understand staying off the strip, but why gamble off the strip? Better comps because they are trying to get people in the door?

Looser slots, way more 3-2 BJ, better pay tables for Video poker

That is pretty strange.

It really depends on how you like your wings. Hot I know, but what kind of hot? Peppery hot? Or like Franks hot? If you like Franks hot it's hard to go wrong with Duff's. If you get fries with them, and hot sauce and bleu cheese and celery and carrots. My mouth is watering and I want some right now. If you like more pepper hot. Bar Bill is good, very hot, but good, but it's also in East Aurora. Tully's has supposedly really good wings that are very peppery, but also quite hot.

Ahh, I'm a poker player, so none of that matters to me. I'm pretty sure the rake is fairly standard. But I could be wrong. Either way I doubt it would be a massive difference.

That's why he prefers to carry the puck and shoot. And why he had only what? 15 assists?

It makes a huge difference gambling on the strip compared to off the strip, don't let anyone tell you there is no difference.

I get his player type but his passing last year was barely AHL level. Not sure how it was in Winnipeg but I remember several turnovers a game because of it.

I was just curious. Since I only sit at a table to play poker and don't play slots or Black Jack or any other table games it really doesn't matter to me unless they take a huge rake compared to off-strip casinos. Not that I'm even planning to take a trip anytime soon, it's good to know.

Stay out of the Night Club in there, lot of trouble, actually all of them are trouble. I don't go on the Strip except to go to work after I'm off I go home and never go up there.

Any Stations Casino

Boulder
Sunset
Palace
Wild fire

Silverton
South Point

Sam's Town

Pretty much anything off the Strip you can win, on the Strip is a different story. They don't want you to win, they have it set to get your money.

Stay the (frank) away from the slots. And roulette. Get those yard margaritas for like $5 and you're good to go.

What's so troubling about the clubs in Vegas? Mostly just drunk tourists trying to get laid, no?

Drais sounds familiar for some reason (in a negative way) so probably stay away.
