He's only had one season here. He did disappoint a bit but should he stay on and not get suspended.. lol I expect his production to increase... That being said. If Benning wants to overpay for Kane be my guest!

Kane is damaged goods, Buffalo is stacked with prospects.
I think an offer from Vancouver would be a player, prospect and pick (not a 1st)

1. Sbisa, Gaunce and a 2nd

Or

2. Hutton, burrows, 2nd.

How about... Edler and a 2nd for Gorges (1,000,000 retained) and Kane

If I'm up for a drive I'll go to Imperial or Leonardis 100% Those are the two best places in Buffalo for me. La Nova is overrated I feel. Their chicken finger pizza is awesome. But they are one of the places where there slices are better than their pies
- bluengold12

I'm always happy with La Nova, but I hear ya
Imperial is right by my parents place, so I'll usually scoop up a 1/2 on my home after visiting

Murray isn't doing anything with Kane until he knows everything that has taken place, it also isn't as easy as people think to move him. You don't take an AHL player or a future pick for him when the deal was big to get him to begin with.

Found out last night the Ducks and Devils have called about Girgensons availability.

How is Sbisa working out for u guy?
Didn't watch much Vancouver hockey this past year
I remember him being a pretty good young player for the Ducks

It's curious to me that the Ducks haven't signed Lindholm yet
I know he'd cost a lot, but I think he's worth going after
His contract will cost significantly more than what they already have Fowler locked up for, so I wonder if we make a good enough offer...

Girgensons, Fasching, Borgen & a pick?
That might be too much to give up
But they're not gonna just move him for spare parts

haha! Send Kane to Vancouver! The place where players go to kill their career!! but in all honesty to buffalo fans, as a jet fan If you're wondering if this kid can ever get past his on ice issues the answer is no. He's got so much talent with a ridiculous amount of potential but the off ice issues seem to play games in his head.
I wasn't disappointed when he left winnipeg for buffalo. I actually think the deal was fair for both sides but I really thought he'd succeed in Buffalo more so than he has.
The best news here is that if buffalo trades him to Vancouver, Benning is going to give Buffalo a vault of prizes; Benning is by far the worst GM in the nhl

- JetsAvs

You are obviously an expert on all things Canucks . Vancouver is a great place to play and has a very passionate hockey market (it's also one of the world's most beautiful cities). Many players have thrived and had excellent careers here - perhaps you may have heard of Bertuzzi, Naslund, Morrison, Jovonovski, Luongo, Sedins, Kesler, Salo, Linden, Bure etc etc.

As far as GM's go, at least Benning is good at drafting and assessing talent (he's made some excellent picks during his short tenure here). Yes, he's made a few questionable trades, but then which GM has not? (certainly no worse than Chiarelli or Bergevin, who are supposed to be 'elite' management talent). I think you will see Vancouver as a WC team this year (Benning has made the team much younger and faster) and, barring the insane amount of injuries which we had last year, will be a competitive and exciting team to watch.

He's not going to move Kane for spare parts either, Ducks wanted a replacement for Nate Thompson and Girgensons fills that. I think they would move Fowler over Lindholm.

As far as the Devils go...
I was pissed when we drafted Hurley, mostly bc I really wanted us to get Santini. RH defensive defenseman.
Idk who we might be interested in from NJ,
But he'd be at the top of my list

Only problem w trading Girgensons now, is that I can't imagine he's got much value. I'm assuming teams would be interested in what they saw 2 years ago, but only wanna give Murray value based on what they saw last year

I would move Girgens for a partial 12 pack, half a box of rubbers, a third of a bucket of fried chicken and a dozen day ole doughnuts

That all makes sense
And I'm sure they'd rather move Fowler
But they obviously aren't getting back the return they want for Fowler
I'm sure they can get a lot more for Lindholm
And there's the Cap hits for each
Just a thought...
I'm sure to get Lindholm we'd have to knock their socks off with an offer

Leonardis is excellent.

Good article and I agree you have to hope Kane has a 30-30 year and if you have to trade him you do it next summer. I don't get what the deal with this kid is, seems like a young child still. How hard is it to stay low key when going out and not getting involved in drama? Go to the Caribbean for 2 months, why is he partying at a dungey club in Buffalo?

Anyways, I think the boys will have a good year next year and get close to Bylsma's 95 predicted points. I don't see Vesey coming to town, he had Boston written all over him in that video interview.

Cheers,

Ducks aren't trading Lindholm for anyone. He's their Risto if not better. Keep it realistic guys

From a Canucks perspective. I'd do it in a second.

From a Sabres perspective thats a retarded deal.

The question is. What exactly is This guys attitude Worth.

Your trade suggestion might be enough to get it done because depending on how badly he has screwed up his relationship with your team due to bad behaviour its really hard to tell what his asking price is.

Im sure a majority of GM's dont even want to go near the guy. He's kind of a sour commodity. Although personally, I'd be willing to take him on as a reclamation project.

I think the best chance at getting his act together would be if he moved back to Vancouver. He has stated his admiration of Trevor Linden and would of course have his family around. Players like the Sedins would also help to mentor him into becoming a productive pro. That said, as you noted, how do you quantify this type of player's worth? I think if you are Buffalo, you keep him until the trade deadline and hope he gets his act together in the meantime, to at least give the club a bit of leverage in any trade scenario(s).
