I mean if you watch replays of games throughout the year, Kreider could have had another 10-15 goals if shots didn't hit posts/goalies made ridiculous saves and another 10 plus assists if players he made nice passes to didn't fudge up the shot. Kreider has had some bad luck to. I am not worried about him

Hockey can be a mix of good luck/bad luck...Rangers had the worst last year

I fully believe if he put the effort in every game and had slightly better hands he could be a high 30's g scorer. He "could "be that good. Thats why he frustrates me to no end.

I don't know if its effort. I really think the guy is afraid of taking penalties. Why he backs off of plays at times cause of past incidents and AV being in his ear. Wish he could get back to just not giving a flying frank

Yup, power forwards are supposed to be somewhat mean and nasty. Its his play without the puck in the offensive zone where I see the lack of effort. Could be because of AV, referees talking to him, who knows, but that needs to change. Cant just always fly up the boards on a breakout.

If Kreider, Hayes, Nash and Miller all have better years. Thats a big chunk of offense that will make them that much better next year.

I wonder if that is part of Gorton's plan. Realizing where the major deficiency was(Offensive forwards helping out the D and a sh!ttastic PK) and shoring up that part of the Rangers thinking the offense will be better.

Yea I agree. The guy trains and works out like an animal. People need to stop getting in his ear and he just needs to not think and play. That is when he plays at his best. I really don't think its effort.

I just don't get why Gorton talked about major changes needed, then did nothing. That is the only reason why I am kind of disappointed no moves happened. If he said nothing I could really care less no changes happened.
