I like Brassard but I am thrilled with this trade.

Looks like you guys made a pretty solid trade... might take a year to become better than Brassard, but for half the cost well worth.

Yup, (frank) all you guys who said I was negative with the E. Staal trade. I like this one and you can suck it.

I am going to miss Brassard. He was a real solid Ranger, and a very good playoff performer, but I like this trade a lot for the Rangers long term, and maybe in the short term as well if they do something with the $2.4 million they freed up. Interesting trade to say the least.
