He made Hall and Eberle better players, not the other way around, you can check those facts at Dobber Hockey if you wish.

Sutter...lol, he could only wish to be as talented as RNH. It's hard to believe he just turned 23, seems he's been around for awhile!

Bo is trending up RNH is getting bumped down. Don't need Dobber Hockey to tell me what my eyes see. Book worms don't impress me.

I watch enough Oiler games to know he is not worth giving up the farm for. Let's see this year who has better numbers him or Bo

Please JB get J. Hudler signed, he is the only free agent that is a proven scorer. I would even take a chance on Gagner but Hudler will make your top six better and that will make the Sedin's more effective with second line contributions.

Too much of a lightweight, Gagner, maybe.

It two years. He either smartens up or he is in Vegas next year or not re-signed the following year.

Dorsett or Sbisa and a second . You are not selling the farm . You do a Kassian deal who BTW seems to turn the corner

Please stay clear of Kane, leapards do not change their spots and this guy wreaks. To go along with his lousy attitude comes the fact that he makes a ton of money and just can not stay healthy. STAY CLEAR

They are both lightweights but Hudler has elite passing skills and can snipe. He can make the power play that much better. We need on more top six player and he is the best one and maybe the only one left that can play top six. IMO Hudler never gets enough credit.

Gagner no more than one I agree, Hudler could go two maybe three. I think the holdup is he wants longer term but teams are probably wanting one or two years deals with him max. Just my guess.

Hudler is a bit too soft for my liking, and he was the beneficiary of a lot of quality ice-time/power play opportunities and good line-mates (the one 70 point season he had was an anomaly and he hasn't been anywhere close to that level historically). We've already signed Eriksson who has shown a lot more consistency over his career (and proved he has excellent chemistry with the twins) so not sure where he would fit in the line-up. He's the type of player that requires top line duties in order to be effective.

Vancouver needs to get tougher and younger and Hudler does not fit into that philosophy. I think I would rather pick up Gagner (only if he would sign for a short term at a reasonable price) as he seems to be a bit more versatile and can slot in pretty much up and down the line-up. He is also only 26 (seems like hes' been around a lot longer, though) so you would think he might be in a good position to bounce back from the last couple of fairly unimpressive seasons

Vrbata would disagree...

I don`t want Vrbata back. Hudler only on a one year contract, Hudler isn`t my first choice as a ufa signing, might be able to provide some scoring on the 2nd or 3rd line.

I am not sure how Rodin plays, if he is good in the corners, and if our middle 6 wingers are Sven, Rodin and Hudler, I`m starting to wonder if JV`s game would be needed more on the Canucks than developing in Utica

Not to beat a dead horse, but always comes back to Kane.

Was just thinking both Vrbata and Hudler are coming off disappointing seasons, after good seasons.

I don`t really want either here.

Trying to figure out if they signed another ufa if there is a deal in place to move another player or if they will risk waivers if players don`t make the club in the fall

Vrbata really didn`t do himself any good with his pouting and poor attitude.

I think he'll most likely end up overseas, but you never know, someone is always willing to give a player another chance.

Could see Vrbata in ARZ on a 1 year deal. 2 million cap hit.

teams are always looking for scoring, but I think Vrbata should have looked at it in the same way that coaches and goalies look at jobs. 1 of 30 starting goalie positions, 1st line right wing, only 1 of 30, and even second line, 1 of 30 second line right wings... Vrbata had a good gig, struggled and then packed it in.

After the Sedins have been so little maintenance over their careers, some of these players that need more care and handling really stick out.

Someone might take a chance on Vrbata, but I don`t think they want to risk a large contract.

I just wouldn't waste the roster spot or cap space. Now this guy is a guy that can cause problems in a dressing room
