It actually was OK.

It was a corporate event - the entire franking ACC was rented out by Microsoft. Free booze flowing everywhere - which was so surreal at the ACC.

We were in a VIP box.

The opening band was so franking awful they were funny. So Swedish Eurotrash girl duo. Can't remember their name: Something Pop. (Googled it: Icona Pop).

Gwen Stafani was OK. I'm not going to lie to you here: I'm not a concert guy. The last concert I've been to before this was Springsteen about 8 years ago - and I was bored out of my effing mind. At one point I actually got out of my seat and wandered through the ACC looking at the pictures on the walls. AT A SPRINGSTEEN CONCERT!

Anyhoo, free food and free booze Wednesday night in a box at the ACC, and then we went to another corporate party at Steamwhistle afterwards.

And I never opened my wallet, so a good night.

Tapas at Embrujo on Danforth just opposite Broadview station is (frank)ing awesome if you want some good quality tapas in Toronto... I must have eaten at least 3 heart attacks worth of serrano (plus a bit of jamon iberico - holy (frank)ing delicious!) on my last visit...

Last time we were there, we went to 41*(degrees).
At the time it was a Top 5 restaurant in the world.
Sadly, it's now closed.

The Kegs quality is usually "meh" but their Rib Steak is actually quite good. I just hate that they can't do a proper Chicago style steak. Barberians on the other hand
