Not calling you a liar by any stretch of the imagination, but how do you know all this? About parking spaces, JT getting one of only a few, etc...
Only speaking to my personal preferences, but I can't fathom that it wouldn't be nicer to sit in the back of a black car and zone out rather than drive through terrible Brooklyn traffic/streets. Imagine farm-boy Hamonic driving around Atlantic Ave in his giant pickup? - eichiefs9
Chief, either you can believe me or don't.
I was the one on here who took all kinds of shat when I said the players hate the game day skate at BC. What eventually happened?
Again take it for what it's worth I'm just some schmuck spewing BS on line |

7, speaking for myself, I'm just curious how confident you are in your sources. In other words, have you spoken to people "in the know"? Or is it one of those situations where it's your cousin's girlfriend's brother's gut feeling? Or something in between? |

The players want to practice was real.. We all get that.. Team made it easier on them to Keep them in a routine. That is different that some suggesting we are losing free agents because of the commute and that players won't sign here because of it |

Nick Kyprios has been all over that excuse for months now. It's really annoying that it ends up being his first question to each player we've either seen go elsewhere in free agency and for the guys who signed with us that he's interviewed.
He needs to be told to shut the hell up about it, he's a former player, he should know it's not a unique situation.

qualifying offers expire today at 3pm eastern, curious to see if strome signs within the next hour. If not, it'll go right down to the wire before camp is my guess.

5 p.m. deadline for qualifying offers has passed. #Isles and Ryan Strome still talking deal, no issues on either side as of now. |

Wouldn't say it if this was the case JS.

The only people who talk about this are some of the posters on here, Brooks & Kypreos Isles had no problem bringing guys in. It's a non story IMO |

Don't lump me into "some" Dan. I never said the free agents left because they hate the commute. I don't have any confirm on that. I said they don't like it. Huge difference. The same thing I said about the game day skates.
I think this will be address as well.
Finally I'll say it again, is BC the best place to go see a hockey game no, but am I thrilled the team is playing there and didn't move to bum phuck Kansas. Hell yeah. |

just curious, what player said he had issue with commute to Brooklyn? I don't think Nielsen said it was the commute that caused him to leave either.
Also what do players on other team do? do all the rangers live next to MSG? do you hear them complaining they have to go to city to play one of their 42 games.
this is all disgruntle islander fan and Town of Hempstead propaganda. I wanted the isles at Nassau as much as everyone and I did all I could do to keep them there. If everyone had done their part and supported them there, they would still be there. |

strome like nelson has no bargaining power. Isles policy is if you aren't signed by first day of camp you sit out. he will cave.
he can prove he worth it on the ice this year. |
