admittedly that's a great contract and he'll be underpaid for years. but he also signed that coming out of his ELC and it's eating up fewer UFA years. i don't think the Shaw contract is a bargain by any means and 6 years is long... but i think that's market value for what a guy like him brings. David Backes just got $6 million for 40-45 points.
