I'd go with wing, mostly because RNH is even less effective when not at center.

Draisaitl had like 3 points without Hall last season. They need a lot of guys to be 100% healthy and step up

I would not have traded Hall unless I was getting a star dman in return. He would've been nearly untouchable to me.

I'm happy that they are happy that they got a 2nd pairing defenseman for him though. Well 1st pairing on Edmonton but you know what I mean.

I'm going to be crazy and say if McDavid stays healthy and they get good goaltending they will make the playoffs.

Once they draft Nolan Patrick, McDavid will be expendable and they'll trade him for Matthias Ekholm

I think the best thing that can happen is McDavid playing out of his mind good, but the oilers continue to suck for years to come.

either McDavid gets frustrated and wants out, or they trade him for some super package..

Either way i want the McDavid/Edmonton experiment to fail. Alberta talks way too much poop about Ontario to deserve Connor.

And the Leafs might not be a lottery team but I can't see them being in the playoffs.

Even if he plays as well as Hall in his rookie season that's still a 50 point player at best and he isn't even close to being as good as Hall when both were 18.

Edmonton should be better next season for sure.. But who knows, maybe they'll actually miss Halls scoring, that'll be hard for Puljujarvi and Lucic to replace. I really dont see Larsson doing anything spectacular. i could be wrong tho.

No one knows how improved the D will be.. but i think it'll be noticeably better.
