I'm with you on dry camp...I went to a golf tourney and apparently had too many. Skull-crushing headache has me thinking I've had enough of that poop.

I was starting to get carried away there for a while. It was time to take a step back. I know a few alcoholics and my grandparents were heavy on the booze I never want to be that. On occasions its fun to let loose though.

I did that at the 108 golf course golfing with a random dude
whose buddies ditched him. We had a blast.

Now that Bachman is signed we have a goalie exposed for the draft. Any chance we get smart and trade Miller at the TDL?

Not working makes for a lot more free time to socialize, which always turns into a few beers. I'm with you, my dad was a navy rat, he drank a lot, I never wanna be like that either.

I don't drink a lot, but I drink a couple every day....I've had enough though, time to quit.

My family drinks way too much. I used to drink half a 26 and 4 or 5 beers a night. Stopped completely after my daughter was born and I've never felt better. I still drink pretty hard sometimes but it's a once a month or two type deal. Saving myself for camping in August right now. Not even a daily beer.

I hope we trade him whether we are in the race for a WC spot or not. San Jose would be a good spot as a back up.

Sounds like me, but I stayed dry for 14 years, now I get drunk once or twice a year. Last time I was drunk was at the Rugby 7s, smuggled in a flask of bourbon, the funny thing was he patted right on my flask when patting me down and said go ahead, I was drunk before the beer went on sale.

I did the same as Lefty and got rid of the daily 2 or 3 drinks. If its a special occasion or holidays I will have some drinks but no more more getting carried away for me. I am always fun and happy when I drink but I still don't like drunk thunda.

Canuck fans are all idiots.

Carol is cool.

Not all canuck fans....and Carol is awesome, quite enjoyed this blog. She is very objective and views events the way a lot of us here do....in other words she is definitely not part of the drama queen gang...

I'm still a young buck at 31. Plus, sometimes my wife drives me to drink. I prefer to just have me some edible cannabis and relax. I haven't been drunk or had a drink for about 3 weeks. Another 3 weeks and I'll have my fun. I plan to get drunk, get naked, and prepare for the shame that follows.

Carol really does have a great view on what's going on. Levelheaded and knowledgeable. Very thankful for her blog compared to some of the other media that covers the Canucks.

If Carol drank and smoked as much as we do we'd be lucky to get one blog a week.

The article Carol mentioned about Gaudette. I went to school with him. He does some pretty good write ups on the under the radar prospect's. Good for him.

I should qualify my Canucks comments. With the limited # of picks Benning has retained he has drafted well although he has picked high. It's giving players away in trades for nothing but bad picks later flipped for essentially nothing & trades to acquire players over paying that is my issue.

Other than drafting; & with both 5th overall picks I select Ritchie & Tkachuk, not Virtanen & Juolevi, & signing Vrbata; then he let Desjardins devalue the asset to the point of being untradable, & Eriksson he has been brutal.

All he has done now is delay the inevitable & by the time ownership see's the light & starts over, attendance is going to plummet. Acqulnni had better hope the real estate market holds as with the Canadian dollar & current fans not filling seats even though they bought tickets they aren't buying beer, parking & food & his revenue stream is taking a serious hit.

Thankfully expansion will line his pockets with close to 30 mil US.

And what precisely are your qualifications to make these statements, you and stinkerbell post as if you are high priced executives employed in the industry, but I suspect you're both just swallowers of media bias.
