The thing is Gardiner is one of the only dmen on the team that can exit the zone cleanly and he does it pretty consistently. He makes more stupid decisions than you'd want but his overall impact is pretty positive.

But oh no, he doesn't score! He doesn't out muscle people in his own end! What a bum. Rielly is the only guy that is probably better but he faced tougher competition so he looked worse on a lot of nights.

Gardiner is pretty decent..

i dont understand the hate towards him.. but then again i dont understand the hate people have for Kadri either.. Some fans have absolutely no idea what makes a good hockey player.

Murray went there to extol the virtues of playing in Buffalo in front of the most rabid hockey fanatics in the NHL. Murray was selling the Pegulas, the HARBORCenter, the world class facilities; the robust housing market, where there is never a "bubble; the love affair that exists between the Sabres and their adoring fans. Murray also was selling the Buffalo Sabres roster and organizational depth. Vesey has the opportunity to bypass the AHL and cement an opening night roster spot waiting for him on one of Buffalo's top two forward lines.

Keep in mind some people thought it safe to give Bernier another chance, he was bound to turn it around.

True, but Gardiner has about 8 of these a night and thankfully most don't actually go in. Unless Softnier is out there.

Let's hope.
cut out at least 1 to 2 goals per game and the possibilities are endless.

It's an automatic system.

If you say something really stupid, it changes to the Senators.

If you light your computer on fire, it changes to the Canucks.

Try typing, "Connor Brown is a can't miss guy this year. I see him playing on the 1st line, getting 70-80 points!"

It should just change your favourite team to "Toronto Maple Leafs."
