Agreed but doesn't mean Johnson wanted to come back. I'm not in the room so I can't say but Johnson said he wanted to be a starter. When he saw that there really aren't opportunities like that he might have decided to just go home. Again, I'm not in the room but that's how I read into it.

Plus, again, if it doesn't work with who we have we go for someone else. Ullmark is there if Lehner gets hurt. If anything I bring back Lindback

Nilsson's a lot cloer to being a scrub than Oposo

they went from 161 to 201

230 is realistic for next year, which is more than the blues or kings had last year

Sabres had 201 with 4 players getting 20 goals. Would likely be 5 with a full year of McGinn. After that there was Gionta with 12. Secondary scoring is key. Foligno and Larsson both got 10 goals with many coming at the end of the year so they need to play consistently (broken record). Ennis and Okposo are coming in basically new to the team last year so they could be that 30 goal difference right there.

I'm not too worried about him. Any player can get hurt at any time. Price went down last year too.

Girgs is bad but he didn't lose it to COR. Girgs was averaging something like 16 minutes a game whereas Cal had about 10-13 average a game and on the lower end as the games went on. I'm the biggest critic of 28 but I won't put COR ahead of him.

I'd say Okposo is worth 5 with what the players are getting now. Add in 1M for the cost of free agency and it's fine. Could have really overpaid with a huge deal and NMCs and whatnot but we didn't so I'm happy. Just don't want to have the deal that everyone looks at and goes "Wow that's Leino 2.0"

That's just Bylsma misusing his players' talent. Trying to tap into that drop of scoring talent he has rather than use him defensively when all year he was saying how he liked using him in the tough matchup. Gotta go one way or the other but trying to pull him both ways I think hurts.

Same here. Lost too many games last year by 1 goal. Many games we only scored 1 goal.

Goal scoring is my biggest key. 26th in GF last year so we have to go up. Okposo and Ennis are the keys to that. I feel Jack hits 30 but think that add of goals evens out since I think Sam gets 20. ROR and Kane aren't going to randomly break out and get 40 goals so it comes down to the new guys and the depth scoring.

The problem with all this is, they guy we need to trade ( ENNIS) as of now can't be and they guy that should be our 3rd line center ( Girgensons) can be moved. Keeping Ennis over Girgensons isn't something I agree with but, that's what it is as of now.
