Godzilla 2' (2019)24/32
Release date: March 22, 2019
Godzilla was originally going to make his reappearance in 2018, but you'll have to wait just a tad longer for His Scaliness. And expect "Godzilla vs. Kong" in 2020.
Update I have gotten.
Cam Fowler- Ducks want way too much, and in that Girgensons is a main piece.
Nash- Buffalo really really wants him. Players have even talked to Nash as 'Friends'. He DID NOT visit Buffalo as rumored. An issue with this and other teams is they afraid of Ennis and his injury. You never know if it is career ending (it could be that bad). And how he did it is a true story no sugar coating.
Vesey- Sabres offered every detail to what he would get with Buffalo. Vesey 'verbally' agreed and said he will finish his process but likes the offer. Sabres feel very good that he will be with Buffalo, but we all know how verbal contracts go as of late - Simple[insert Babcock jokes]. Speaking of which, Babcock did have a verbal agreement and all paperwork ready, and Toronto snuck in last minute and offered more with more control.
As of late Sabres have had talks with Dallas and Calgary. No details could be provided and these are premature talks thus far and they couldn't provide info.
Also- keep an eye out for a couple moves , or attempts, on some players no one would ever expect. Exact words, 'in todays NHL when you can trade Subban straight up for Weber, anything can happen.'
I don't understand Anaheim. What are they going to do next season? Dress 10 skaters and 8 D-men???
They have a Surplus of D-Men they should be pretty open to trading for Girgs for Fowler who they're severely over valuing.

and you can have peters, twice
Interesting comments by Murray not only about Vesey but about Nylander. He loves the kid and there is the possibility according to TM that he might be in Buffalo come October. He also talked about the D corps and will discuss with his scouts about looking at the free agency list for another D man. - mhp
From what I saw Nylander isn't ready for the big show. He could use a year of seasoning and getting bigger. Seemed to run out of room a bit faster than he expected during the scrimmage/3v3 tourney and got hit hard or almost hit hard a few times. If he goes to Rochester I could see him earning a call-up but I don't think he makes it in October unless he spends the entire summer working on it.
I usually only bet on if i want to have a drink or not... and i always win twice because the answer is yes and then i get a drink.
So if we can't seal a deal for Fowler on D who do we go for? I am assuming if would couldn't get Fowler it'd be hard to get Shattenkirk so who does that leave us?

bump.
If Murray is looking at signing two more d men I would look at signing Brandon Gormley for Rochester and sign for Buffalo either Bartkowski or Quincey, maybe even Luke Schenn.

I would agree. Maybe what the Sabres want is for him to go to Rochester.

All I got from what i've heard is Fowler for Girgensons, haven't heard any other names as of yet. Shattenkirk would cost a lot more IMO, I can't see that one happening.

I've heard that it's NHL or Sweden but I don't understand when guys say that. Your best bet to make the NHL is to be where they can see you play and progress and if someone gets hurt you're an hour away. I get that leaving your home is a big deal and you only want to do that for a pro deal but commit to the organization and jump over.
Not a big deal at all or even a little one just think it's smarter for him to come over.

I'm fine rolling the D corps we have now honestly. Fowler would just be another nice addition. I feel like we've improved if only because Gorges now plays on the 3rd pair. Defense wasn't awful last year and it got better this year so I'm good to go.

I think you can rule out the OHL. Seems to me it's either Sweden or Rochester. He could play in the SEL and see how he progresses against top competition there.
