Leafs are trying to shop the oft injured Lupul with two years left on his deal? Gotta wonder if Hextall offers up AMac with <1mil retained. Would be a pretty similar scenario to the Hartnell/Umberger trade. AMac probably sticks on that D roster too. Not a pretty trade but I think I'd be ok with it.

I like it. We need room for other young d to come up and lupul deal is shorter. I also have faith in him that he could fit in the top 6 or 9.


Then with streit and Schultz and possibly Mdz out next year which I would prefer Mdz to stay personally unless all the kids are ready then that will be lots of money to play with.
