Go to pizzabuzz if you want that poop

- Mononoke

Someone actually just posted this on pizzabuzz, so I'll repost it here (credit to PepPepCheerio):

"Laughton moved to wing full time somewhere in late February. Fudging the dates a bit, in his time at center, here were the worse possession players than him: VandeVelde, White, Bellemare, Umberger. Digging deeper, aside from the 4th line, he posted the worst defensive zone score (as in expected shots vs. actual shots allowed) of any regular forward. He was also rocking one of the highest, at times the highest, turnover percentage in the d zone of any forward. The reason he got so little ice time with intermittent scratches was because he could not be counted on.

All this aside, simply watching him, he struggled to grasp basic system work at center whether in coverage or exits, showed a lack of poise with the puck, and it led to a lot of cycles against. This is just defensively. Offensively, he also seemed to be lacking in terms of puck distribution and cycle work. He simply had trouble reading and thinking the game all over the ice. Switching to wing allowed him to keep it simpler. And frankly, Cousins just heavily outperformed him. He looked better at wing, going from a poor center to an average winger, but a lot of that had to do with Cousins in the middle too. Concurrently w/ Laughton switching positions was Cousins becoming full-time 3C and becoming one of the best Flyers down the stretch."

The penguin gets left in Brooklyn by the ice follies. Bugs finds him, says he'll get him home. Finds out penguins are from the South Pole. Bugs says. "OooooH I'm Dyin'" and takes the penguin on a journey thru Hell to the South Pole. When they get there, Bugs finds out the stupid penguin is from Hoboken, which initiates the line heard above and Bugs giving the damned thing to Humphrey Bogart who wanders in to beg for money, in character from The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre

I'm on my 2nd of 7 rotations in West Chester, currently living in Malvern for 4 and a half more weeks.

Sleepy. Sweaty (pretty warm in my friend's place). Alive. Working hard. Pretty much sums it up.

Greatest thing ever was coming home from school and catching cartoons on TV.

Well, that and being home sick from school as a kid and starting with Looney Tunes in the AM and ending with Hogan's Heroes, McHale's Navy, etc by lunch.

We used to cut school and get baked watching Mork & Mindy and Hogan's Heroes. Good times.

I think so anyhow. I really don't remember

Leafs are trying to shop the oft injured Lupul with two years left on his deal? Gotta wonder if Hextall offers up AMac with <1mil retained. Would be a pretty similar scenario to the Hartnell/Umberger trade. AMac probably sticks on that D roster too. Not a pretty trade but I think I'd be ok with it.
