On a side note, I really think Sweeney and company will wait until after development camp to sign any players. Perhaps they are hoping someone will wow them there. If not, then the last ditch effort to sign a stopgap and plow into the season with fierce mediocrity.

yeah we're going to disagree on this one. by the way krejci had 23 points in 2011. not a lot lately. marchand has never had more playoff points than in the 11 playoffs. career high for Bergeron too in 11.

dude do you remember the the first three or four games of the season last year? before we sent Matt (frank)ing Irwin down? i knew i was watching some of the worst Bruins hockey i had ever seen. ever. ended up a harbinger of things to come i guess.

That's what I was thinking... the plan is to score a touchdown every game!

In all reality, I can see this team being very similar to last year... except that they actually pick up some legit help on D part way through the season, and actually squeak into the playoffs this year. I don't think it's going to be pretty... Probably grab a wildcard spot. But I'd rather be just in the playoffs than just out of the playoffs.
