Why you can't quite tell from the photo is that they really attacked my elbows - for some reason you can't really see the red, but my elbows looked like cauliflowers.

they were extremely common where i grew up, deer flies especially. (frank)ers love hats. still never once had one slice me up.

im not sure they exist in toronto though.

They're every where up here on the Black river, mow the lawn and the dragonflies swoop in and scoop them right out of the air.

Its like they know where you are most vulnerable... they go for the shoulders a lot too.

I liked it when Polak called out some Leaf forwards for cheating in the defensive zone and being too focused on offense.
He was right and Carlyle was letting it happen.
He also has some grit which we are lacking big time.

Well fights arent so much about laying a beat down on a guy taking liberties, its more to show that there will be a reaction if you do try stuff.. Belak was a punching bag too.
