That means he will be a Ranger where he wants to play and for a discount!!!!! For all the Girardi haters out there Girardi played hurt for most of the year and not his best year. All NHL players have a bad year or two! This in no way means buy him out or trade him! Both him and Mark Staal will be our second line Dmen once Shattenkirk gets here next year to play with Mac!!!! We just need to be patient.

Haha, yea the last season was horrible, they systematically killed off almost every great character, each in a more absurd way then the next. The last straw was when the Warden (Ernie Hudson) was killed.

I agree! We most likely will get Shattenkirk! Why add our 5th RHD! Plus Holden on the right side is 6!

Schultz is an upgrade over Girardi, so yes. Sign him. Klein has shown us he can't play top pairing minutes for a very long time, McIlrath needs to be eased into more playing time, and Girardi is barely capable of 3rd pair minutes. While he's not ideal, Schultz is still a better option than all three right now. We basically just need him to hold the fort until Rath gets some more experience and can play the first pair. Sign him to a one year deal for as cheap as possible.
