I see no problem with it. What's the difference between drafting a goalie with that pick or trading it for one who is a bit more proven? Not to mention it was 30th overall. And they drafted 1st overall. And picked 31st overall. You're way over reacting .

I'm pretty excited about them this year. They finally have the defense headed in the right direction. Hoping that Provorov makes the squad this year and becomes the next Gostisbehere. We could use a goal scoring winger. The goaltending seems solid.

Leafs absolutely do not have the best future in the league. Boston philly Buffalo and Edmonton are the top 4. I'm not sold on the leafs at all. And it's not bias because I hate the (frank)ing Bruins just as much. Leafs have matthews and a bunch of undersized Corey lockes. And call me crazy all you want but I'm not convinced matthews will be the saviour you all think. Just like Kessel and Phaneuf once he has a half dozen bad games the media will roast him. Matthews seems to be shy and timid. Laine is c0cky as (frank) and would give a poop about the toronto media. Much better suited. Should of asked for Trouba and the 2nd for the 1st imo. Smart hockey
