pretty easy to install on Android.

watch out for the APKs. There is some big time malware apparently on some of them. I read that one allows a third party to remotely access and control your phone.

any of the irish descendents on here can recommend a good restaurant in dublin? (no gyros/poutine please )

My only advice while in Dublin is: Get out of temple bar.

It's where every tourist eats and you won't find the best food.

I don't remember the name of the place but it's south of the canal.... my girlfriend ordered an Irish stew which came with a huge piece of meat attached to the bone in the middle of the stew with vegetables and potatoes.

It was (frank)ing glorious.

Also: Get out of Dublin once you've done the 2-3 touristy things, people in small villages will treat you very, very well.

I haven't been to Moe's but there are a bunch.

Burger's Priest is the only place I can definitively say is better than Johnny's

I would also add Toma burger to the list, definitely worth trying - West of Queen and Bathurst

Man, I could not care less about the Euro cup.

I care much, much less when a ton of drunken Portuguese folk find it prudent to drive down the street beeping their damn horns for hours on end.

Great, Portugal won the championship. Guess what? You live in Canada, and our soccer team blows.

I have one for work and we're switching to the iPhone. gotta say I'm in the opposite boat there.

May I ask why you're buying an iphone so close to the new generation coming out? I think it's "available" on in September, but I'm assuming you need one asap.

Worth waiting till the new gen comes out to buy the current one, usually marked down nicely.

Anybody remember Steak Queen?
- underhill14

It had a satellite dish way before anyone else had one. I remember my brother and I went there one night to watch a heavyweight fight (can't for the life of me remember who).

When I was really, really young, it was a Dairy Queen.

I like the one with the green hair, mask, and frilly pants when the camera pans over. Just stands there doing nothing and then does a quick jig.

Fair point. My upgrade cycle happens to run right around the time the new generation comes out so my mindset is a little different in the sense that when a new one comes up out it coincides with when I need a new phone anyway. Mine's about 2 years old and has some issues and the upgrade price isn't too harsh, but if we're talking full sticker price then I get it.

Reminds me of when friends would visit when we lived in Boston.

I'd allow them one drink in the Bull and Finch (the Cheers Pub).

We would go in, order the special where you got to keep the glass. One drink in the bar, you could go look at the glass case in the hall where they had all the crap for sale, and then we would drink up and leave.

It actually wasn't a terrible place in the winter. But wow, once the tourists arrived in the summer, it sucked arse.

I think Diary Queen before Steak Queen and the guy saved money on the sign...something weird like that.

But they had something "King" burger. The thing was massive and had a lot of flavor.

Late night after downtown, drunk go there to get a burger and fries. So good!
