I remember as a kid I couldn't finish a Johnny's burger.

I'd eat about half and then stick it in the fridge to eat the next day.

I've seen a few Shawarma places that do the same thing, but they put the fries in throughout, not just on top.


Seems kinda pointless, really... like Burrito places that throw chips inside the burrito.

Those things are not staying crunchy for more than 30 seconds.

The Greek place Messini's on the Danforth does the fries in the Gyro and it is one of the best Greek places I have ever been to. They have some deal two gyro's, two greek salads and two feta fries for like 15 bucks - argh I'm salivating just thinking about it.

Best Shawarma in the GTA is "pita golden pocket " at hwy7 &keele. If you have been there you will no it is Fantastic! Seriously go there before you die

They use frozen beef patties from McGregor meats.

Johnnys is good but it's hard to be impartial due to the nostalgia factor. Big moe's has nice big crumbly patties, no bs toppings, and they have a burger called the big stack which is their version of the big Mac. Their fries are delicious and you can get poutine combos. I'm hungry.
