I think we can all agree if the AHL was an option, that's where he would be starting the 2016-17 season.

Sadly, it isn't.

So if the Leafs are looking for what is best for his development, it's (at least in my opinion) hard to understand what he can gain by going back to the OHL.

He basically won everything he could. Individual trophies, team trophies.

He needs to now learn how to play the pro game.

So he's an ass because he disagrees with your opinion? I agree that Marner will likely be playing in the NHL next season as he has done everything that he could possibly do in junior with no option to play AHL. People didn't question Patrick Kane when he came in as a small, 18 year old and Marner had comparable stats and more achievements? So any opinions on where he should play next year are purely speculation since nobody has seen him play against NHL pros and so nobody knows if he will be able to handle it.

So you're not looking to ban him for being an ass, you're banning him because he disagrees with your opinion which you feel is superior to his. Typical Dozzer though.
