No dude, I hate HATE HATE the Foo Fighters. Jeez, thats pretty insulting that anyone could think I actually like the Foo Fighers - the Billy Ray Cyrus of Rock and Roll.
P.S
You seem to have great taste my man. - James Tanner
Hey, come on, what did he ever do -other than making Miley Cyrus- to you?
Did Dave Grohl kick your dog or something? For a music snob, I'd think their "Sonic Highways" would be right up your alley. They went to 8 cities and looked at the music history/culture for that city, talked to the icons of said city, and made a song about said city. And made an HBO series to go along with it as their part of the marketing for the album. I thought it was a fairly novel concept.
Also, is Garth ghostwriting your blogs lately? I've been noticing a bunch of errors. Not misuse of commas nit picking. But "liaison faire"? Really? I'm pretty sure you mean laissez faire.

However, Codi Ceci for Ryan Nugent Hopkins is a whole knew level of nuts. - James Tanner
That's pretty bad for the greatest writer alive.
But I do have to give you Marcy Playground. They've got some good songs.

So basically you're willing to suspend your convictions if the moves your favourite team makes are contrary to said convictions, because you think they are just the absolute best.
Why not just say that? No one will judge you. You're a fanboy like the rest of us.

Sonic Highways was a good documentary, as long as you skipped the parts where the Foo Fighters made you listen to their god awful new stuff.
As for the whole using latin phrases thing, Liaison is obviously the word spell check gave me, I at least had a z there when I started!!

Even if you make the most obtuse reading possible of what I said, I don't think I said that.

Fair enough. The music wasn't spectacular. Although I do like "What Did I Do? / God as My Witness" and I do like Gary Clark Jr who plays guitar on the track. And if I hadn't watched the doc I probably wouldn't like any of it since it's mostly gibberish if you don't know the references. And yeah, you could jumble up all their songs and not be able to tell when the songs were made. And they have some very forgettable albums. But everything is relative right? If I'm forced to listen to "popular music" there is far worse than Foo Fighters.
James, I am willing to bet Donald Trump dislikes the Foo Fighters, which, means that you and him agree about certain things. It could be said, due to your common dislike, you support some of trumps positions.
Wow, these extreme arguments with no grasping logic are a hoot!
Tanner supports Trump 2016!
Sorry James, but I just wrote it and it is now on the internet which makes it true!
FWIW the Foo Fighters documentary was actually great.
I will disagree on the Pearl Jam knock as well... went to their concert a few months ago in TO and I have to say that Eddie and Co. still put on one hell of a show. I was a fan back in the day... liked some of their album a few years ago and then stopped listening to them. After the concert I delved into them on Spotify a bit... gotta say I remember why I liked them.

Hey, like what you like, but if you like those bands and also legitimately like music, I'd be more than willing to offer you a list of newer bands that don't suck. - James_Tanner
Didn't you just say to "question everything?" I question your objectivity in band suckativity

What if:
Even though the stats say that Bernier and Andersen are about equal, the Leafs see something in him or in their analytics that suggests he's the ideal goalie for Babcock's team/system? What if there is something about his make-up, psychically or mentally that they feel will allow him to improve on his career statistics to date? - James_Tanner
So Andersen just knows where the shooter is going to put the puck?
