With the draft this year, adding Okposo, and possibly Vesey, Murray has done a solid job.

And I'm glad of all of Darcy's picks he's moved, he didn't touch Bailey.

I was worried for a while it would be a trade that got looked back on and really effected us competing for a cup. I don't think that way now

It also wasn't a deadline move. You likely had Stafford for another few weeks. The goal was 30th, and this helped, while getting a top 4 pick with loads of potential. Let's see/hope Kane can get his poop together this season.

I get what you're saying, and I think we agree that it's not a big deal in the long run here, but again, I can't give it a complete loss. It's disappointing that Kane may in fact be a complete head case, but I don't hate any of the pieces involved.

I'd still expect Ullmark up if Lehner goes down. Goalies are the last piece so until he goes down I'd just ride with Lehner and whatever his name is.
