Not that it would ever happen but Im genuinely curious how many teams would be interested and what price if Kane was actually bought out. For a while when he was in winnipeg the perception of him (at least in canada kinda) was that yea hes a bit of problem child but he's young and the winnipeg fans aren't exactly a "fair" bunch. But in this scenario he's much older and now its two different cities in two different countries. Just a thought.

At this point he has little to no value in the trade market. They either have to accept complete failure in that trade or hope he turns it around this season on and off the ice and gets some value

How so?

A 35 point player that makes 5.5 mil and has had off-ice issues in two different cities probably does not have high trade value.

(Side note: I like Kane as a player.)

I saw that. Good for the bull. They do some heinous things to those bulls before they go out into the ring.

I was when I red the article about the lions ambushing poachers and killing half of them, but alas, it was a fake story.

Unfortunately I agree, can't win them all. Kane can still turn out to be a good player on this team if he keeps his nose clean. He has tons or talent he just needs to be a smarter player on and off the ice.

No, that's Bago's problem.

I was talking about exposing him in the expansion draft.

1. Go watch some hockey.

2. When you say "I'm a richard," it means you're a richard all the time. If you mean you're a richard when you post troll comments, just say "I'm a richard when I post troll comments."

Oh I know. I wasn't necessarily saying that about your comment. It just made me want to say there is no value in trading him now. The return is not there. I would rather keep him and see if he does better this season. If so then yes expose him and/or trade him for something. No point in trading him now.

I hope so. He's a beast on the forecheck. I also like the fact that he just rips the puck at the net, regardless if it'll go 10 feet wide. Sabres haven't had a shoot-first player in a while.

For anyone thinking that Eichel isn't getting at least $7M on his next contract. Just look at the Barkov, Scheifele and MacKinnon deals. And just wait for the Kucherov deal that's coming. Although given that the draw of 0% state income tax in Florida is a bigger deal than I thought it might be it might not be as much money as we think.

With the way players aren't taking bridge deals anymore, we most likely will have to give him 7.5×8 or something along those lines
