strong start to the year... nothing more... by late november he was back to being his old average self

people point to his numbers in SJ like all he needed was a good team in front of him... but the only games he played were against non playoff teams save for a couple games when he played teams that while they were in a playoff position... they were 7th and 8th seeds on the cusp of potentially missing the playoffs.

he puts up good numbers when the quality of competition is low... and only average to below average numbers against playoff teams
