Top 5 Leafs hated by Atomic Wedgie (in no particular order). And there may be more than 5.
Bernier. See post above.
Jim Korn. Tore the dressing room apart.
Corson. Same as Korn.
Blake. Did not give two poops about the team.
Salming. Yeah, I know - you didn't expect to see him on this list. He was a fabulous player, and he rightfully deserves to be in the HHOF. But here's the thing: he's the beginning of blue and white disease. And it isn't even his fault: Ballard loved the guy so much, he refused to let him go when he was clearly past his prime. But Salming hung on until the almost bitter end, and prevented the Leafs from moving forward. He was the beginning of vets way past their prime, who remained with the club because they were fan favourites. I love ya, Borje, but I also hate ya.
Billy Sweatt. Too good for the Leafs? Funny, you went on to play 3 games in the NHL.
Craig Simpson. Too good for the Leafs? Although I'm glad you were an arrogant d-bag, because we got Wendel instead.
Harold Ballard. Oh Lord, don't even get me started. #1 on the list.

So was salming - jribout
I don't hate him for Wedgie's reasons. I get what he's saying, but I don't share the sentiment.
I don't even get into the Sundin wouldn't waive thing, to me it's beyond rationality to blame him for mismanagement. To me he was one of the most remarkable players of all time and a great Leafs captain who carried the team on his back for over a decade. I love Sundin, I would die for him.
I have a feeling Andersen will be a little worse, and Bernier a little better, than each was last season. Andersen doesn't move a whole lot. And if Toronto's defense is near it's usual level, watch out. Bernier on the other hand will actually have a defense in front of him.

Don't allow the other team to shoot early in the game, or from center.

Unless he sits backwards on the bench, in which case it'll be behind him...

Anderson is the size of a house...he doesn't have to move.

Does the Duck's defense make sure to block every dump-in on net from the neutral zone?
Kidding aside I think there's some truth to what you're saying, I bet that does happen to a certain extent, but I bet Anaheim doesn't resign Bernier. I think he was part of the deal they're taking a flyer on to get that 30th pick, and if he plays 15 games and isn't great it's not a big deal. If he bounces back, great.
