Not sure what is so funny. I honestly don't think anyone in the division has a better group of centermen. IMO, it is the most important position in hockey. Our D is not the best but it is nowhere as bad as Detroit, Florida, Montreal, Buffalo or Toronto. Rask is also the best goalie in the division.

Do not forget that the Bruins looked like they were going to win the division for a while this past season. All of this without the depth that they currently have.

First off Florida's D is much better, and Tampa's centers are just as good if not better. Chara is not nearly as good, Krug is a good offensive dman, and Miller is a good dman but that's about it. Rask is definitely not the best goalie in the division. Bishop and Price are better, even with Price being injured almost all last season only a homer would call Rask a better goalie. Luongo also put up better numbers last year compared to Rask, just as many shutouts with a better Save% and GAA.

Tampa Bay and Florida are the 2 best teams in the division after that it is up in the air with who will finish 3rd, 4th, 5th...
Just like the last couple of years the Bruins will be in the playoff race but come up just short.

Buffalo will also improve greatly on last season, I don't know if they will make the playoffs but they will be in the race. They finally got another left shot dman in Kulikov, they added Okposo, and Eichel and Reinhart will only be better. They still might add Vesey but even if they don't they will be a stronger team.

As far as I know, Rask has a cup ring and Price does not. Price had one phenomenal year and not much else. Rask has been far more consistent.

that logic has Chris Terreri being a better goalie than Luongo, Price and every other goalie that hasn't won a championship. Rask was a Back up for that championship and I don't think he even played a minute in the whole playoffs.

All time Price has played almost 150 more games but Rask has better numbers. (Rask .924 2.24 vs Price .920 2.43). They are both great but numbers never lie. There is heart and leadership and everyone knows what that brings to a team but still...numbers tell the real story. But then again, there is the 150 more games......
