First time Buffalo had two touchdowns in Boston on the same day in years.

Yeah, I was hoping that he would reveal where Hoffa is buried. Sad to learn that he only talked about hockey.

Are you like Paul Hamilton's brother?

Back to the Chinese food talk, anybody know a good family style restaurant to go to? We used to go to a place owned by a lady named Rita, but it closed years ago. We would have about 15 people and each get different dishes to pass around. Very enjoyable being able to get a little of everything. Not to mention the time it saves looking at the menu.

No, I am just someone that likes to think for myself instead of mindlessly regurgitating "local radio guy stinks". Some do, some don't.

I was only kidding man.

Hamilton is a very nice guy. He just isn't that great at his job.

For the record, I also never said he wasn't a nice guy. I said that I thought he doesn't engage into the entertainment portion of his job and it can come off as pretentious.

To be honest, I respect most of what the guys at WGR do. I just don't agree with a lot of it.

As much as I rip Coller's opinions, the dude produces a show, writes for ESPN, writes for another site, is sometimes on the air.... That's a lot to accomplish.

Not sure where the nice guy stuff came from - wasn't me.

I think what amazes me about the Buffalo sports talk scene is that these guys are pretty tame compared to other markets. I've heard that this guy is a know-it-all and that one has an ego. I've lived in other places and the personalities are far more pretentious/opinionated than the local guys.

I get not agreeing with them - we all have differences of opinions. The silly conversations going on yesterday centered around what people expected from the on air guys. The one thing I like about guys like Coller and White even Schopp is that they come at it from a different angle than the guys that we grew up with. For whatever reason that is polarizing.

Yeah, and guys on msg boards forget that they can't even make it through a 3 sentence post without going off topic, misspellings, and improper grammar. Yet these dudes have to fill something like 20 hours of air-time a week on top of other obligations like writing ... all in a 2 "major" sport town where people only want to hear about Bills/Sabres. Could they be better? Sure. I doubt anyone on here would step in and be better than them though.

I do think it's fair to expect more from PH, but I'm not dragging that one out.

I just wish someone like Kris Baker was on the air frequently

Baker is very good. What does he bring that Hamilton doesn't?

I'd add: engaging in something other than talking to players.

Baker focuses on guys that aren't near the NHL. I wouldn't expect a beat reporter to do that.

One thing I did note yesterday - it is funny to see people across this site attending their prospect camps and reporting back that "player x is the real deal". Everyone looks good when skating 5 on 0, I suppose.

It was interesting to hear Hamilton be so effusive in his praise of Peterson. He rarely does that about prospects.

I still can't find anything that has him a last cut for the 80 team

I trust Disney over him

This is kind of my point though, what exactly does PH bring to the table?

Joe B was the beat reporter and did a lot of articles on college prospects before the draft
