Personally I'm not in favour of any of those topics, and like you I owe &20 because I thought Hamhuis should have been resigned. But he's gone and it's another stupid article by Botchford...nothing Benning does is applauded by this hack.

If anyone wants to discuss past moves carry on, a simple round and round we go shouldn't be criticized with all the idiocy I've seen posted that last few days.
..carry on, I'll take my leave now.

I was the one who brought up the changing demographics in Vancouver and it wasn't a knock against them for ruining hockey. I simply stated the fact that they were a factor in the downturn of the business of hockey of the Canucks because fans who could go to the game were selling their properties and moving farther out from the city, making going to the game less likely and viable due to transportation, accommodations, gasoline, parking, etc.

Flames hire Paul Jerrard as assistant coach (Utica Comets assistant coach last year) and Dave Cameron.

There's no need for an explanation, the ones that didn't understand the 1st post won't understand this post either.

It's nice out, but not gorgeous, kind of muggy. The perfect weather for a mass produced New Zealand Sauv Blanc. Everyone knows that.

Well I have no idea where you (frank)ing stand (far away from the arena apparently) but the stadium was empty last season and we were one season removed from the playoffs. I went to approx. 30 games. At one point I purchased 20 seats together for $250 Mediocrity? We have had a great team for the majority of the decade. Not to mention you can hear a pin drop in the stadium.

Reminiscent of the old Pacific Mausoleum days it seems.
I believe the avid & more rabid fans r in a pub or at home.

Travelling Canadians are the most annoying. I've backpacked all over the world, and I try to avoid Canadians. Especially those with flags stitched to their bag and ones with Maple leaf tattoos.

There is a reason for that if u were so worldly u would know it.

It's the fast food of wine. Every bottle and every vintage tastes exactly the same.

You could pay more for worse, but you can definitely find better at the same price.

Why is this funny?
all good points that i've been going on about since the TDL.
He's good, local, good mentor, would have signed for cheap (allowing us to move Sbisa for whatever).

I'm not crying about him moving on, but it's not a stretch to argue that our D would be improved with him in teh lineup.

- dbot

Perhaps it's not a stretch but I think it's far from a certainty that Hamhuis would be better than our 3rd pairing. His salary is far to high for a number 6 D (yes, I know Sbisa is in a similar position). I remember his performance over the whole season and not just his last 10 games where he was playing for a contract. He was worse than Sbisa.

I think I figured out how the deal for Kane would look.

E.Kane + 2018 3rd for Sbisa + CBJ 2018 2nd.

- Retinalz

Fits us under the cap but idk if Murray likes the deal.

Thanks Lefty for the update. Boeser seems to be the one closest to ready. Most meda say he will definitely be ready for 2017.

Very glad to hear Brisebois moving along nicely. We all knew Joulevi is expected to be an NHLer, but it sounds like in a couple of years GB will be one too. Excellent news
