This I can agree with.

Estephan, Cornel, and Hurley are too green to judge but they could be top 6 players as well.

Bailey is "closest" for sure.

I still hold out hope for Baptiste. Big year for him

Bailey to me has the highest upside for the top six out of all prospects in the system with the exception of Nylander. I like him alot more than Fasching
- MCGUIZZY

The good thing is we have both Bailey and Fasching. They can both benefit from some AHL time, Fasching I think moreso, but they both have NHL potential IMO. Fasching showed he wasn't as slow as we thought although he's not fast by any stretch. Getting used to the speed of the pro game will help him.

I'd be okay losing Kane if I get a defenseman, but my thing is if Kane's value is already so far down like everyone says why would we sell low? Right now the stock is in a hold rating. You hold and hope it goes up but if you sell low you lose money. If he turns out to be worse you don't lose that much more.

Now, if you think I can get a good Dman for him, like I said, I'm all for it. But I won't do Fowler for Kane and a 1st. That's too much. I'm just okay with doing the 1st for him, not adding more to it.

- Zschalberg

Great question.

I've been screaming the same thing about Ennis.....everyone on this site seems to want to dump him while he's at his lowest, even when history tells us he should rebound.

He was apparently acquired in a trade with WSH on draft day and they declined to offer him a contract which allowed him to become a UFA.

Take it for what it's worth. Maybe there is more to it than I know but I cna't find it on google if so.

LOVE that size and still putting up points as well.

Can really find much wrong with the guy. Hes 20 so if we sign him he can go straight to the A. Seems like a no brainer to sign if he has a decent showing

I think if Carrier stays healthy you may see his name called first. IMO he would have been a call up at the end of last season had he not gotten injured

Big year for him.... maybe last year was just a learning curve.

But this year is going to be a separation.. He either joins Bailey, Fasching, and Nylander as borderline NHL players in Rochester or becomes a William Carrier career AHL looking guy.

I think a lot of people on this board are really underrating Foligno and what he brings to the team

I wanna know why NYR didn't offer a contract to a guy they got in the 4th round??

I can't figure that out.

All I have found is some Blue Seats Blog that says "he regressed and did not warrant a ELC" which seems ridiculous to me.

See, you say that and 3 other posters say he has real potential. I did look and he had 20 in his last 24 before getting hurt. I don't follow rochester as much as I'd like, so I don't know.

Maybe... Rochester is going to be LOADED with kids.

Carrier, Baptiste, Bailey, Fasching, Nylander, Cornel, Dupuy, Estephan, Karabacek, and Olofsson are all there I believe.

If he was a second or third round pick I would understand signing him but remember you only can have a maximum number of contracts for prospects

Just like I think we should Of let our second round pick go this year

Rodrigues too. I think Nylander is going to play in Sweden? Thought I heard that somewhere.
