Just messing with ya guys, but its funny how the media train is pumping this barrie leaving story.
Media cant even get his UFA years right when they go nuclear with their Avs hate pieces. They think this is ROR and hes 2 years to UFA so arbitration is a death sentence.
Barrie is 3 years out to UFA status, so whatever 2 years arb if they go that way, they still have another year of him as a RFA to deal with. Unless the Avs are blown away in a trade offer, he isnt going anywhere - DDM-Coga

If the new State Flag logo wasnt as good as it is, I would have been more upset about the Foot. I like the new way they are branding the team, they are goign to go full Colorado State with everything in a few years with the thirds becoming the new primary design and logo.

The Sabres should get cap recapture in the form of the first year players who are charged the full amount of their possible bonuses against the cap in their first year and whatever amounts they did attain are subtracted from the cap the following year. I would guess with Reinhart and Eichel you get at least four million if not five million plus. At least that is what I recall. I still do not know all the fine points about this last cba. - BluemanGuruu

That wasn't even the worst. The worst was 05-06. The 06-07 team was good but that 05-06 team felt like they had magic. That loss haunts me. As a 12 year old, that team got me into hockey.

05-06 was definitely the most stacked team and probably our best chance to win the cup but 06-07 was a super fun year. The stats from that team were outrageous

06-07 was a blast. That whole year was just fun. I remember tying the record in the beginning of the year and winning the presidents trophy and thinking there was no team that was going to stop us. That Rangers series was so much fun too. Ottawa though... I'll never forgive that team.
Edit: Although I wasn't a fan of trading Biron. Didn't mean anything but I didn't like it.

I remember getting 200 level seats center ice off a scalper for $10 to like game 1 or 2 of that series. Back when Jagr was on the team. That was a blast

and yea...ottawa owned us. I remember game one when Dmity Kalinen coughed up the puck on the power play and they scored short handed. I knew at that point that we were doomed
