That's the hilarious thing.

They are selling off the old stuff like it is infected with cooties, yet that logo looks exactly the same, except for the little outline around the outside, which even Leafs Nations idiots like me don't care about.

I even bought a ton of Toronto St. Pats stuff last year just before St. Patrick's Day - they were deep discounting it because it was "the old logo." WTF? They aren't making a new Toronto St. Pats logo!

But I was happy to only pay way too much for it, instead of the usual way, way too franking much.

And I can't wait for this logo to go away:



Will be interesting to see how long MLSEL can hold out not selling crap with that logo on it before they bring it back as "retro."

I'd be willing to be a beer they have stuff on the shelf by Christmas.

It's the high-priced crap we buy that unites us all.

There was some interesting characters there today. Talked to a dude who got shanny Lou and Dubas autographs.

Got a pic with Lou with my girls and saw shanny walking around on the phone. Never got a pic of Dubas he was up in the press box or whatever the whole time. Not a good spot for a pic.

well we sucked forever with that one, and its the 100th year...so I guess they are figuring its time for a change...oh and some $ in the bank.

I used to have the world's ugliest shiny white sweatsuit (pants and jacket) that me and my brother bought at a National Gym outlet. OMFG, they were ugly. But I couldn't justify keeping it in the closet.

A few beer mugs.

I know I may get voted off the island here, but I've never loved the Leafs' logo.

I don't hate it.

I like the fact it's a maple leaf (although the new one looks like an oak leaf).

I like the colour scheme.

But for a team called the Toronto Maple Leafs, could we not have got a little more creative than taking a maple leaf and writing "Toronto Maple Leafs" in the middle?

I like the logos with no words on them - true logos.

The Flyers' logo isn't bad.

Hartford - greatest logo of all time.

And here's the other thing: you have to be able to draw them in kindergarten.

I remember trying to draw all the NHL logos in kindergarten. Chicago? No effing way. To this day, I don't like the Blackhawks' logo. This is why.

And don't even get me started on the KC Scouts. Try drawing that when you are 5 years old. It just ain't gonna happen.
