I think he'll be a fan favorite. Truthfully.

I like that signing...a little long but...he's a good player.

Can't say I've watched one second of his play, but if he performs as advertised, I see no reason why he wouldn't be.

Seriously Shaw is a good 3rd line player. A very good one.

I think by Christmas he will be a fan favorite...now Radulov...wow...I hate that one.

- stormey

as a Bruins fan i knew that signing would sting a bit. he'll be a female dog to have in the division. i've always liked shaw after seeing him up close in the finals a few years ago.

but there has be some upside with radulolololov? right?

That's because you have no clue. Zero. That is possibly the best signing of the entire bunch. If it doesn't work out, he's done after one year. If he plays to his potential, he'll be difference maker and then some. What's the problem with the signing in your opinion?

He not gonna score anymore?
- pete26

He didn't score before... that's 15 goals a year for 6 years. The way he plays, If you get all six years out of him, you'll be lucky.

He is, yeah. He'll burn out before his contract is done, but he'll get you close to 20 goals at least one year before he turns into Dustin Brown.

He's an idiot. It's been proven over and over again in this league and in the K.

You think it's just coincidence that he was left off the world cup team?

Now what if he is a problem in the room? I could see this as being very likely.

I know it's not my money or yours...but it's very valuable cap space on a team that spends to the cap.

Pretty sure the exact same thing was said about Semin.
You know what the big difference is though...Semin wanted to play in the NHL and was signed for a quarter of the price.

The easy response. No way to know whether he's changed or not. Says he has because he has a kid. I know I did. So since he was by far the most talented of the bunch of UFAs, and it's only for one year, I think it could be a great find. Could it backfire? Well, after last season's results, it can't get worse, so I don't believe there is a downside.

You're comparing the skills of Semin in 2015, to Radulov in 2016. Do I have that right?

Well what kind of a response did you expect? Was I supposed to make up stuff that nobody else has noticed?
I didn't mention him walking out on his team and contract?
I didn't mention him hitting his coach on the head with his stick.
I didn't mention that he was suspended for a playoff game on his return to Nashville (we he was supposedly matured) for being out partying with Kostitsyn till 5 AM the night before a playoff game.
Most talented by far??? Now you're just making poop up. He couldn't hold Okposo's jock strap.
