i would love for the truth to come out some day. Bergevin is a young guy, and that was a reputation-shaping move he made, one that he will have to answer for in any future NHL employment opportunities. i try to assume he had good reason for making the move.

i think the point is more, he put his ass on the line. because that's a move that cannot be a lateral move for the next year or two. it has to make you tangibly better, whether through on ice or off ice improvement. if the Habs scrape into a low playoff seed and lose in the first round... could and maybe should be the end of MB.
