I already stated previously that I expect them to finish in the top 20 as the team stands now. Maybe playoffs, definitely if they can pick up another D.
I bet he still doesn't get much pp time with the oil. Klef on pp 1 and Sekera on Pp 2.

Like I said before, I'm not trying to defend the trade at all. The GM's involved said that the only price was Hall, but I highly doubt it. Chia was probably just trying to make room for Lucic.
I cannot stress how much I would have loved our LW depth to look like Hall, Lucic, and Maroon. It would have made more sense in the case if Chia wanted to sign Lucic if Pouliot, Ebs, and perhaps Davidson were going the other way, but it seemed that NJ factored in the cap space in doing so.
Chia trading Hall for JUST Larsson was a fantastic deal for Shero and NJ. For us, the toll it takes on us goes far beyond just on-ice play. McDavid and Hall were supposed to be the central peices of the franchise for years to come. If you're mad at what happened, I cannot blame you, but it doesn't change what has happened.
I'm not trying to pump him up either. I'm just merely doing my research and looking at ALL of the facts. Nothing more, nothing less.
