Every time there's a trade people need to talk winners/losers. But I do think Larsson is exactly what the Oilers need

Also, Hendo, the fact that you said that Edmonton is still in a dire need of a PP specialist after the Larsson just goes to show how little research you did.

During his tenure back in the Swedish league he was used and depended on as a "QB" within the powerplay back when he was playing with his swedish team as a youngster.

Not only that, but he had a lot of time on the PP internationally and he succeeded to a high extend.

Again, not trying to defend that Hall trade because Chia might be saying that Hall was the price that was needed to be paid, similarily with Shero's statement at hand. However, we cannot be or will never he guaranteed that that was true. Not only that, but it seemed that Chia rushed the trade in order to sign Lucic. Rather have seen Pouliot go and sign Lucic. A LW depth of Hall, Lucic, and Maroon would have been amazing, but what can we do.

I wouldn't be surprised if he does pass the 40 point total this season. From what it will look like, Larsson is gonna be feeding the puck to McDavid a lot if you consider the lineups and combinations.

I doubt he will be on the ice with mcdavid as much as you think. For larsson to be effective he will start more in the dzone rather then the ozone. I think rnh will take most of the dzone faceoffs with larsson defending

Bullpoop excuses. We've had many injuries in years prior as well.

Now someone will say well we lost a lot of one goal games. But I already put up the stats showing we lost just as many the year previous with Eakins/Nelson.
