The last few pages on this thread were some of the smartest posts I've ever seen.

Sportsnet are a bunch of gymnasts...way they stretch stories.
Obviously Leafs will improve - they were a pile of crap with Babcock and Reilly sprinkles.
The Oilers had a good week only because JP fell into their laps and he is a driving winger. He's hopefully at the level Yak should of been. Otherwise I would have held onto Hall and shopped more. What's the point of waiting longer and trading when the right deal is there. I know its been hell waiting for a right shot top 4, but you need a top 2 atleast on a contender. Could be wrong about Larsson, but watching him play more in the east, I never say anything that stood out. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Yzerman certainly won. Drouin will be back. Stamkos resigned at a bargain! Hedman resigned and now you can also get Kucherov signed in long term. If that happens he should get fans to perform certain services on him whenever he wants

The thing I find funny was that they said Tampa was most improved... How? Seriously... Most improved? I mean, they had a good week by re-signing players, but that doesn't make them the MOST improved team... It keeps them consistent.

And he goes on to talk about the Leafs and how they'll improve because of Matthews (which is true) and doesn't even mention Puljujarvi playing for the Oilers...
